The Brief
Secret 7" a design competition where 7 songs are provided for artists to interpret and create a vinyl record cover for, 700 records, each at a set price and sold first at auction with all proceeds donated to a refugee charity.Challenges
I decided to select 3 of the 7 songs and created 2 designs for each. The challenge came when coming up with unique designs for each of the selected tracks. I wanted to create each one with a different style to widen my chance of selection.
My Unique Solution
I created 6 uniquely designed vinyl covers all of which were designed with an inherently different style from the last, I utilized photo manipulation, photoshop illustration as well as 3D designs of my outcomes. Out of the 6 I submitted to Secret 7, 1 of my designs was selected as shown below.
